In the blink of an eye, you could find yourself witnessing a medical emergency. The faster care can be provided, the better the chance of a positive outcome.

The victim often can’t wait for an ambulance to arrive. Their best chance of survival depends on the quick action of bystanders and access to lifesaving equipment. Are you prepared to help?

Whether they’re using an AED for the first time, administering CPR or treating a life-threatening injury, every member of your community can have the peace of mind that comes from knowing they are prepared with Rescue Ready® ZOLL® AEDs in an easily accessible location.

Good Samaritan protection

To help promote the purchase and use of public AEDs, the U.S. government passed Good Samaritan protection legislation in 2000. Good Samaritan laws aim to address concerns that a bystander might face legal consequences for attempting to help a person in need. With this legislation in place, someone who witnesses a medical incident may be more willing to step in to help before emergency services arrive at the scene.

Supporting heart-safe communities

The American Heart Association encourages public access defibrillation (PAD) programmes to reduce time to defibrillation for SCA victims in public settings. ZOLL can assist you with designing, implementing, and maintaining a customised PAD programme.
